Hello, my name is Arsima Araya (she/her) and I am a second year at the college majoring in Race, Diaspora, and Indigeneity. I am very excited and deeply humbled to join the RDI team this year. At UChicago, I serve as the  undergraduate representative on the Committee of Community Relations. I am a proud member of the Organization of Black Students, where I serve as the Action Chair, and African and Caribbean Student Association. I am a mentor for the Bronzeville Youth Identity Collaborative which is a program that intersects art and activism with Chicago Public School students. I also work for the Chicago Freedom School which focuses on liberation education training and workshops for youth and adult allies. I look forward to my time working with RDI!
